Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is a neighborhood in rapid transition, recently amplified by zoning changes.  The goal of COMMENT WILLIAMSBURG is to create a living history of the neighborhood through its places.  The website collects comments from individuals about places in Williamsburg, including stories of how people work, live and play in them in the past, present and future.

Anyone with a connection to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is encouraged to make comments on places marked on a MAP of Williamsburg by posting writing, images or video.  Comments may be anything related to the places: personal experiences, memories, snapshots, descriptions of how it used to be, historical knowledge, opinions, art projects, or records of activities & community organizing.
